Horror club to throw family-friendly festival in North Olmsted

The Cleveland Horror Club will be holding a Halloween-themed family festival at the Soccer Sportsplex in North Olmsted this October.

The Halloween Family Get-Down is a child-friendly program where people can enjoy a mix of spooky activities. Guests can watch live movie screenings throughout the festival and participate in costume contests. The event will also include face painting, Trunk-or-Treating, and games. Attendees can purchase refreshments from visiting food trucks.

There will also be a special guest appearance from Marty Schiff. He is an actor, producer, and director who is most known for his involvement in Dawn of the Dead and Creepshow. Schiff has also acted in films such as The Umbrella Man, Mary and Joe, and Deadtime Stories: Volume 1.

The Cleveland Horror Club is an organization that is famed for throwing horror-themed events. The group is known for its annual Cleveland Horror & Oddities Convention. The club also organizes live movie screenings at venues like The Winchester Music Tavern.

The family-friendly Halloween fest will be held on Saturday, 14 October from 11:00am to 6:00pm. Tickets to the program will cost $5 for adults and $3 for children between the ages of 10-16. Those 10 and under can enter the festival free of charge.
