Residents in Cleveland looking to greet the winter season may be interested in the city’s winter kick-off event.
WinterLand is the seasonal lighting of Voinovich Park and Public Square. At the beginning of the season the public is invited to help celebrate with a variety of activities for all ages. This year also marks the premier of the ‘Illuminate CLE Holiday Light Show’.

The WinterLand Kick Off will have several activities attendees can choose from including ice skating, photo opportunities and trackless train rides. Community partners will be providing some treats and giveaway items throughout the afternoon until their supplies are depleted and there will also be live music and food trucks available to enjoy. Towards the end of the evening the new light show will commence, accompanied by original music tracks from local artists.
The event will be taking place on Saturday November 28, at Cleveland Public Square, located at 50 Public Square. Festivities will begin at 12pm and conclude with the first light show beginning at 5:30pm, then repeating every half hour until 11pm. The event is suitable for all ages, and admission is free of charge.
