New Chik-Fil-A in Colerain giving out free food
A new Chik-Fil-A will open its doors at the Colerain Commons at 6:30am on April 7. As part of its grand opening celebration, the fast food restaurant will give the first 100 people to get in line free food for a year.
Dubbed the First 100 program, it's a tradition that typically accompanies the opening of a new Chik-Fil-A. Only people who live within certain zip codes around Colerain are eligible to participate in the contest. Eligible participants who are among the first 100 people in line on opening day will receive a coupon for one free sandwich meal each week, for the next 52 weeks. The meal includes the sandwich, a medium-sized fries, and a medium soft drink.
The company can use flyer printing to let interested people know the rules and regulations of the contest. For example, people are only allowed to begin lining up starting at 5:30am on the morning before opening day. If more than 100 people arrive before 6 am, each person receives a ticket for a raffle and the first 100 people are selected at random. An additional 10 people are picked to be alternatives.
