Colerain to honor local heroes
The Colerain Chamber of Commerce will be organizing an event in June to honor two notable members of the community.
Hometown Heroes is a program where notable people in the community are recognized for their accomplishments and contributions to society. This year, the guests of honor will include Alison Delgado and Diana Egbers. Delgado is a physician who graduated from Colerain High School, and Egbers is a local leader.
The event will have many activities, such as listening to music, playing games, and taking pictures at a photo booth. Attendees can also visit the Veteran’s Corner to hear stories from veteran honorees. Dessert will be served after the heroes are recognized, and the event will conclude with a networking session.
Guests will also get to attend a bourbon and wine-tasting session at the event. The bourbon will be provided by the New Riff Distillery, which is a business established in 2014 by Ken Lewis. The company produces several kinds of alcohol, including malted rye and Kentucky Wild Gin.
The event will be on Thursday, June 22 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Members of the Colerain business community can pay $60 to attend the celebration, and those who are first responders can purchase tickets for $20. Organizers for ceremonies like this may use flyer printing to get more people interested in attending the events.
