Colerain program to teach children about reptiles

Children can visit Groesbeck Library in Colerain this July to learn about dinosaurs from the organization Dino Buddies.

The Dino Buddies Reptile Visit is a program where kids can be introduced to live reptiles in a safe environment. Children get to have close-up encounters with various reptiles during the event, such as touching and holding the animals. The interactions will be monitored by Tiffany Johnson, the CEO and founder of Dino Buddies. She has a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and has worked with professional organizations, such as the Arrowhead Reptile Rescue and the Cincinnati Zoo.

Dino Buddies is an organization that wishes to excite and inspire children through memorable encounters with animals. The group offers fun classroom encounters where kids can play games and work on crafts while learning about reptiles. People can also book the organization for private events such as birthday parties. The educators even offer summer camp encounters. Those interested in booking the group can connect with its representatives through Zoom or over the phone.

The reptile visit will be held on Thursday, July 27 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Families will not need to register for the program in advance, and there are no admission fees to see the interactive presentation. Libraries that coordinate child-friendly activities like this may use print shops to make signs for their events.
