Colerain program to educate people about wolves

Colerain residents can attend a virtual presentation held by the Cincinnati Public Library in June that showcases exciting facts about wolves.

The Wolf: Fact vs. Myth is an online program created by the organization Ironwood Wolves to teach the public about wild canines. During the activity, viewers will get insight into the family lives, diets, and habitats of wolves. The presentation will highlight the animal’s importance in the ecosystem and go over basic myths about wolves. The presenters will also bring a live wolf ambassador to the broadcast for people to see.

Ironwood Wolves is an educational facility founded in 2013 to inspire the public to care about wolves and other canine species. The organization is USDA licensed and is permitted by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. The group hosts many programs, including classes on foxes in folklore and the wild canids of North America. People can also schedule a meet and greet to interact with the wolf ambassadors. Educational facilities similar to this can promote their cause through packets made with brochure printing.

The presentation will take place on Thursday, June 10 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Guests must register for the activity to receive an invitation to the Zoom call. The program is suitable for all ages, and the event will be free for all viewers. Those interested in supporting Ironwood Wolves can purchase merchandise via the website.
