Colerain presentations to explore grants
Organizations in Colerain interested in receiving grants can attend a series of presentations this summer organized by the Cincinnati Public Library.
The Cincinnati Public Library will be holding three virtual courses to help organizations better understand grants. The first lesson will teach attendees how to find grants and will cover topics like the Foundation Directory Online Professional database and the basic practices of grant seeking. The second presentation offers a demonstration of how to use the database to identify the best potential funders for a nonprofit organization.
Groups can attend the last course to learn about beneficial tips for writing proposals. The lesson will show viewers how proposals are organized and prepared, while also advising people on how to present the proposals in a way that promotes a positive response. Attending organizations will discover what makes up a successful proposal during the course. Libraries offering helpful classes like these can market their presentations with flyer printing.
The Introduction to Finding Grants course will be held on Wednesday, June 23rd, and the Grants Research Lab will take place on Monday, June 28th. The Introduction to Proposal Writing class will occur on Wednesday, June 30th. Each presentation is free for people to join, and all lessons will last from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. All attendees are required to register for the activity.
