Colerain gets ready for new dining options

A hot breakfast of waffles and hash browns 24 hours a day awaits, as Colerain township gets ready to welcome the newest Waffle House and other restaurants to the area.

A few finishing touches need to be made to the interior of the building and to the landscaping outside, before the doors officially open on the Waffle House next week. Once open, the new Waffle House will be 26th one in the area. The restaurant is in the midst of hiring staff and may use flyer printing to spread the word around.

Along with a new Waffle House, Colerain will soon welcome two new chicken-focused dining options. A KFC is currently being built on Colerain Avenue. It will be next to the McDonald's. Although the opening date isn't set, its construction is on track for an opening before Thanksgiving.

The town is also getting ready for a new Buffalo Wild Wings. Work is in progress on the restaurant, which will be located at Stone Creek Towne Center. An opening date has yet to be announced.

Buffalo Wild Wings isn't the only restaurant getting ready to move into the Stone Creek Towne Center; the zoning commission in Colerain Township recently gave TGI Friday's the go-ahead to relocate from its current spot at the Northgate Mall to the Towne Center. It will move to ‘restaurant row’, which is currently home to Quaker Steak and Lube and an Olive Garden.
