The American Heart Association will be the beneficiary of a tournament fundraiser at Glen Oaks Club that will combine fun with taking an aim at cardiovascular disease.
The charity has issued an invitation for golfers to tee off in its Old Westbury Long Island Golf Classic, and it will recognize the hard work of Joel Hamroff, as well as others who have taken on a leadership role on Long Island. The day will open with registration, and the play will kick off with a shotgun start.
Once the attendees have checked in, they will be treated to a chance to mingle and choose their favorites from the brunch menu before they take to the greens. Once the games are finished, everyone can retire to the clubhouse for a reception presentation of awards. It has been requested that the golfers wear soft-spiked shoes, and while shorts are permitted, collared shirts are required. The dinner will be casual dress, and everyone will be treated to refreshments out on the course.
Many people who sign up for a fundraising day like this one appreciate receiving Corporate Gifts. These can include everything from water bottles and shirts to larger items.
The 33rd Annual Golf Classic - A Joel Hamroff Memorial Tribute will be held in support of heart health on May 1st. Registration will open at 10:00 am.
