Old Westbury Gardens will welcome visitors and their leashed dogs for a day of outdoor activities this April.
Old Westbury Gardens is known for its historic estate and gardens. It provides year-round educational programs, guided tours, horticultural workshops, and cultural events. Visitors can also enjoy museum exhibitions, wellness programs, classic car showcases, concerts, and lectures. The organization aims to preserve and interpret early 20th-century American estate life through its architecture, collections, and landscaped grounds.
The event will feature vendors and scenic walks. There will be a variety of exhibitors showcasing pet products, services, and accessories. Dogs must remain leashed and are permitted only in certain areas.
The festival is part of a broader lineup of family-friendly and educational events to be hosted at the site throughout the year. Additional activities include the Long Island Celtic Festival, gardening classes, book signings, and master gardener-led discussions on horticulture, history, and design. Dog lovers from the neighboring town of Westbury are sure to be in attendance at this event.
Interested individuals can register for the event through the Old Westbury Gardens listing. Vendor applications are currently also being accepted. Flyer printing may be used to get the word out about events such as this one.
The event will be on Saturday, April 12 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at Old Westbury Gardens, 71 Old Westbury Rd, Old Westbury.
