Westbury to host long-running garden show
Hicks Nurseries in Westbury will welcome its 35th Annual Flower and Garden Show this March.
The event will feature eight meticulously designed gardens, each showcasing unique themes that capture the essence of spring. The exhibit aims to provide visitors with inspiration for their own landscapes while offering an immersive experience of the changing season.
Created by the award-winning Hicks Landscapes Design and Build team, the display has been a year in the making and incorporates more than 5,000 plants across 250 varieties. The arrangement continues to bloom, allowing attendees to discover something new each time they visit.
A scavenger hunt will be available for children and families, offering an engaging way to traverse the gardens. Activity sheets will be distributed at the entrance, guiding participants through a search for distinct plants and decorative elements placed throughout the exhibit.
Designers involved in the event include Craig Donley (designer of the Spring Renewal), Thomas Cahill (Up Up and Away), and Kristen Kelly (Spring Fling). For additional information, attendees can visit the event listing.
