The Westbury Plaza, located in Garden City, near to the village of Westbury, celebrated the grand opening of the S.A. Elite Sports Authority athletic clothing store last Saturday, October 20.
The grand opening for the S.A. Elite store kicked off at 9:00 am, when about 100 shoppers came through the door and snagged ‘Shopping Cards’ to the high-end sporting goods store. The store cards ranged in value from $5 to $250.
During the grand opening celebration, customers also had an opportunity to enter to win a $500 shopping spree in the store. Even those who were unable to attend the grand opening have a chance to enter the shopping spree sweepstakes. Entries will be accepted through the first week of the store's opening.
Customers are also welcome to sign up for the store's loyalty program. Loyalty club members earn 5% back on purchases. During the first week of the store's opening, members earn triple reward points. The loyalty club gives the S.A. Elite store a perfect opportunity to work with a Westbury Print company. A local print company can be hired to produce the loyalty club Forms and Flyers.
The Westbury Plaza S.A. Elite is one of only 10 such stores in the country so far. It is the first S.A. Elite store in the state of New York. The first store opened in Denver in 2010. The concept of the store is to offer higher-quality designer and name brand sneakers and Apparel to customers. The store also sells casual fashions and accessories.
