For two days next month, the community of Westbury will be the place to be for families on the hunt for some active summertime fun.
The city has set the dates for its annual Summer Family Festival, and this free event is open to all. It will be running for two days, and both will be open for seven hours.
The function, which is organized by Market Events 111, will see attendees enjoy shopping from the assorted vendors on site, and these will include local makers and artisans. The kids can spend some time in the craft corner or watching the balloon twisters at work, and there will also be face painters circulating. Music and food trucks are also on the agenda.
Small businesses are sure to appreciate the opportunity provided to them by local makers’ markets like this. They give companies a way to expand their customer base that is often highly cost effective, and Business Cards for these occasions can be prepared by area Print shops for vendors to exchange on the day.
The more than 70 vendors who will be on hand for the Summer Family Festival and Market will be welcoming those who wish to do some browsing and buying on Saturday, July 15 and Sunday, July 16. The festivities will be on offer at 1500 Old Country Road.
