The holidays are right around the corner, and many Westbury residents are marking their Calendars for a special local celebration.
Old Westbury Gardens has extended an invitation to one and all to enjoy an evening of carolling, bonfires and mingling under the stars. Thanks to the social distancing and other protocols in place, the organizers hope it will be a safe event for all, and the proceeds from the gathering will benefit the gardens and the programs and services it offers the public.
The event will take place outdoors so everyone who plans on coming out is advised to dress warmly. There will be a tree lighting, and while the guests enjoy sipping a cocktail and nibbling on a selection of small bite dishes, they can mingle with the other guests.
To help make sure the function follows social distancing protocols, the guestlist will be limited to just 50 people. Masks are mandatory, and tickets to be a part of this activity are on sale now. Banner printing and other promotional services for this sort of occasion can be sourced from area printers, and there will be lots of options for their customers to choose from.
Old Westbury Gardens will be opening the holiday season with this moonlight celebration on December 5. It is scheduled to begin welcoming guests starting at 5:00 pm.
