Westbury invited to salute its local heroes
Military members and first responders serve their community and country, and in turn, they may come to call on their neighbors for some support in times of need. This is why the organizers of the Project Stand fundraiser are hoping it will attract a large crowd of people who are looking to have a fun night out while also helping others.
Project Stand is an initiative that makes sure there is a system of supports in place for first responders, veterans and military personnel who are experiencing hardship. Military members and emergency crew members who attend the Westbury area celebration are encouraged to represent their unit or branch of service and wear their dress uniform with pride, and everyone else has been asked to wear formal attire.
When the doors open to the guests at 6:30 pm, they will be invited to mingle over a cocktail or two, and then it will be time for the buffet style meal service to begin. Wine, beer, soft drinks and water are all included in the ticket price, and a cash bar service will also be on offer.
Along with the food and friendship, the guests will be treated to valet parking, and a DJ service and raffles will provide entertainment for the occasion. Print shops can design letterheads and other documents to use when planning and event like this, and these can be supplied by professional printing services.
