An event all about bees and brews will be taking flight at Old Westbury Gardens, and it has the whole community buzzing with excitement.
This evening visit to the gardens will give members of the public an opportunity to enjoy how beautiful they can be in the twilight, and during their visit, these guests can learn more about the art of backyard bee-keeping. Anne Breyer, who is the Director of Horticulture with Citifield will be sharing her expertise when it comes to these garden helpers, and she will also discuss a variety of conservation related topics.
Along with a discussion of backyard beekeeping, the attendees will be treated to samples of locally crafted beers. This will be a ticketed event, and these will only be sold in advance. The function is limited to those who are at least 21 years of age, and snacks will be served alongside the drinks.
Tickets for the “Take Flight: Bees and Brews Night” celebration are on sale now, and they start at $32 each with a special discount for Garden members. A brochure printing company will be able to supply Booklets that provide more details about home-based beekeeping, and these can be prepared to hand out to the attendees during this type of affair.
