Westbury conference to focus on senior issues

A caregiver conference is on the way for the Westbury area, filled with topics sure to be of interest to those who work in the field.

The evening event will include remarks from several guest speakers, and it will also provide an introduction to various services and supports. Everyone will be able to network and build connections, and professionals and learners that take part may qualify for CEU (continuing education unit) credit hours.

The conference will introduce topics such as facing isolation, finances in senior living, and also care needs, and everyone can browse through the exhibitor expo area. A presentation of the Caregiver of the Year award will take place, and the Managing Partner of Cona Elder Law, which is the presenting sponsor for the activity, will be the emcee for the gathering.

One of the draws of the event will be that author Ron E. Role will be on hand for a book signing. Organizers of signing events often get hold of promotional Pens and other conference swag from a Print professional.

This opportunity for those in the elder care field to gather, connect, and learn from subject matter experts is scheduled for Wednesday, May 8. It will run from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Hilton Long Island Huntington. Tickets can be purchased through its web listing.
