Westbury area plans back to school bash
It will soon be time for kids to head back to class, and thanks to an upcoming event, they will have the supplies they need to achieve success.
The Westbury area is on the guests list for the Back to School community event that will be on offer on Hempstead’s Kennedy Memorial Park. Kids, parents and educators alike will all be in attendance, and it will help to get the new academic year off on the right foot.
The public will be treated to the chance to connect with a variety of community supports and services, and the information booth fair will explore locally based resources. Free book bags and other items will be distributed to scholars from kindergarten to grade 12, and there will be lots of other fun as well. Tickets for the gathering are free of charge.
The listing for the activity explained that it presents an opportunity for small business representatives to set up shop, and booth spaces can be booked for $75.00 each. The final date to do so is August 25th. Companies often choose to have business cards prepared in advance of an activity so they can easily share contact details
