The opening of His and Hers Bar and Lounge has given Westbury residents a place to relax, and now plans to hold a grand opening during this month.
Miriam Hernandez, the owner of His and Hers, noted that a nightlife scene was something that Westbury residents “really don’t have right now”. There is just one other lounge in the town, but it has a different focus to His and Hers.
Her goal in opening the lounge is to give people an upscale, but laid back place to relax with friends, enjoy a glass of wine or a cocktail, watch the game, or just chat. Hernandez chose the name of the lounge because she hoped it will appeal to both women and men.
His and Hers now plans to add outdoor seating, and also hopes to start hosting events, such as karaoke. Even though the lounge will focus on drinks more than food, another goal is to add a kitchen and create a menu of small plates.
To prepare for grand openings, bar owners will often create new digital Business Cards and create Postcards to share with residents and local businesses.
Currently, His and Hers is open Tuesday through Sunday from 4:00 pm to 2:00 am. The bar is located at 259 Post Avenue.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards Get a Free Quote for Postcards
