The winter holidays are a time for good cheer, and a Westbury event will help to make sure this is true for all the kids who call the area home.
The Holiday Cheer Bus is set to make stops all over Long Island, delivering smiles to kids who are coping with a significant illness. As they go, they will be able to complete a series of fun and silly challenges, all while vying for the Cup of Holiday Cheer.
Each of the registrants for the activity is asked to donate $25.00, and this will help the initiative to deliver gifts to as many kids as possible. These Santa’s helpers are encouraged to dress in elf attire, and they will be making stops at the home of each child on their list to drop off some holiday cheer.
At the end of the day, all of the elves who took part will be invited to stop by 80 Herbet Street in Lindenhurt for the Elf After Party where they will be served cocktails and other refreshments. A project like this depends upon the support of the community, and a flyer printing company can aid in getting the word out about it to the local area.
This opportunity for area elves to do a good turn for local kids and have fun doing so has been scheduled for December 22nd. The drop off vehicles will be departing from 600 Albany Avenue on the day of the activity.
