Patchogue businesswomens organization to celebrate 10th anniversary
This July, the POWER of Women Exchanging Resources will hold the Brunch and Bubbly event in East Patchogue, which will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the POWER organization and the 5th "Women in Business" award winner.
Founded by Denise Nostrom, owner and financial professional of Diversified Financial Solutions, POWER is non-profit women’s organization based in Medford that serves Long Island and the surrounding area. The organization provides educational meetings and networking opportunities for local businesswomen.
The Brunch and Bubbly event will celebrate not only the 10 years that POWER has been serving the community, but also showcase the winner of the 5th "Women in Business" award, Debbie Loesch of charity organization Angels of Long Island. The event will feature an awards ceremony and brunch buffet, drink, and dessert options. Attendees can also participate in a 50/50 raffle and a penny raffle. There will be plenty of networking opportunities, so attendees may wish to bring with them a supply of business cards.
Proceeds from ticket sales will go towards supporting the organization’s scholarship programs for local high school students.
The event is scheduled for Sunday, July 10, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. It will take place at Sunset Harbour Catering on 90 Colonial Drive, Suite 2, East Patchogue. Tickets for POWER members are $55, and tickets for non-members are $60.
