Williamsville is about to take a step back in time to the early days of cinema, and a special quest will be on hand to meet the audience after the movie draws to close.
Bruce Woody will serve as the guest organist for a screening of “Peter Pan,” which was originally made in 1924. He will be performing live, and the Riviera Theatre in North Tonawanda will be the venue for the occasion.
During the screening, the theater’s concession stand will be open so everyone can enjoy some refreshments while they take in the show. Admission is free, but donations to the Riviera will be most appreciated, as they will help to keep its door open in the future. As a special treat, the Easter Bunny will make an appearance and spend some time with the younger guests after the show.
Local cinemas are often gathering points for a community, and a poster printing company may prove to be a valuable partner in promoting their events. It can use graphic design techniques to prepare Posters and other materials to help spread the word about its upcoming movie schedule.
This showing of the almost 100-year-old version of Peter Pan, complete with live musical accompaniment, will be taking place next Sunday, April 3. The curtain will go up at 3:00 pm.
