A fair is planned to help students, and their parents, compare colleges and universities and see which ones are a good fit for those seeking to continue their education.
The Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) and the Baltimore County Public Schools, are co-sponsors of the upcoming College Fair 2020. The event will be held at CCBC Catonsville, where representatives from over 100 military schools, proprietary schools, colleges, and universities will be on hand to talk with students and their parents about the various institutions.
This is the ideal time of year for potential students to explore the options they have for further education. CCBC will also be on hand to remind visitors of the advantages of going to school locally. CCBC offers affordable costs and quality programs, and students could save thousands of dollars in tuition costs if they attend CCBC rather than going directly to a four-year institution. Once a student is graduated from CCBC, their records are guaranteed to be transferred to schools in the University of Maryland system.
The College Fair – Catonsville is scheduled for March 11, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at the Jack Manley Wellness & Athletics Center on the CCBC campus. Parking is free for the event, and students in high school are encouraged to bring their parents to attend the fair. Events like this provide a good opportunity for participating institutions to distribute Business Cards.
