A popular series of concerts will begin in Catonsville soon.
Catonsville Concerts at 3 is a series of seven concerts ranging from jazz, to classical, to music of other cultures. Some of the concerts will be broadcast virtually while others may be held in person, depending on current circumstances.
The first concert is by the piano DUO Stephanie & Saar, who are Stephanie Ho and Saar Ahuvia. The second features classical and jazz pianist Stefan Scaggiari, and the third features the Strata Trio: Audrey Andrist on piano, James Stern on viola and violin, and Nathan Williams on clarinet.
The fourth concert features TIMES TWO: Netanel Draiblate and Lura Johnson. Draiblate is a violinist and Johnson is a pianist. Next is the Heart of Maryland Barbershop Chorus, which has won awards, and the sixth performance is by the Joy Ike Trio, featuring piano and vocals. The series ends with the Peabody Ragtime Ensemble.
The first concert, DUO Stephanie and Saar, is October 11. Stefan Scaggiari appears November 15, and the Strata Trio is set for January 10, 2021. These concerts will be broadcast on Facebook.
Organizers hope people can attend the last four concerts live. They are TIMES TWO: Netanel Draiblate and Lura Johnson on February 7; the Heart of Maryland Barbershop Chorus on March 14; the Joy Ike Trio on April 11; and the Peabody Ragtime Ensemble appearing May 9. Poster printing can be used to advertise a series of events like this.
