Pumpkin and pony fundraiser planned for Catonsville

Catonsville’s Patapsco Horse Center has a special event on the horizon that will be all about having fall fun, and helping to fund programming offered by the Maryland Council for Special Equestrians.

The fundraiser will offer plenty to see and do, and admission to the function is by the carload. It has been timed so that it will take advantage of the usually pleasant early fall weather, and it will be spread out over two days.

The individuals and families who attend the festivities will be able to enjoy going for pony rides, and they can make some new fuzzy and feathery friends in the petting zoo area. Food trucks will be on site, and apple cider will be poured. Everyone can make a selection from the pumpkin patch, and fall plans and a build your own scarecrow station will round out the celebration.

Spreading the word about a function like this may be a key to its success. A poster printing company can be called on to lend a hand. It will be able to prepare many types of marketing materials, using its customers’ needs and budget as a guide.

The Pumpkin and Pony Fest is scheduled to entertain the community on Saturday, October 2 and Sunday, October 3. The Patapsco Horse Center can be found at 2501 Frederick Road.
