A Catonsville class will be bringing out everyone’s inner artist, and each attendee will walk away with a project they can keep for themselves or give to someone special.
Gabby Oakes of Oakes Wine Designs has organized a paint and sip session, where participants will be crafting their own custom wine glass. The Baltimore County Arts Guild Clubhouse will be providing space for the event, and the fee being charged is $20.
While they sip on a complimentary glass of vino, Oakes will walk them step by step through the painting process. All materials needed are included and guests may bring their own drinks. There will be additional glasses available for purchase for those who would like to create more than one. Both experienced painters and those who have never picked up a brush are welcome, and attendees may come as part of a group or on their own.
Many venues have begun to host craft, paint, and even plant and sips. Stationery printers will be able offer the organizers an assortment of materials, including printed care tip sheets to distribute on the day.
The Catonsville Clubhouse, located at 10 St. Timothy’s Lane, will be providing this chance for community members to free their inner artist on Friday, March 21. Its schedule runs from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
