Catonsville is known as a community that cares, and this will be on full display during a service project to make sure everyone has nutritious food on their table.
The Knights of Columbus Hall Parking Lot, which is located at 1010 Frederick Road, will serve as the collection point for the Fill A Truck food drive in the works for the fall. A variety of items are in high demand, and the items dropped off will be delivered for distribution through the Grace SAME Food Pantry and the Catonsville emergency Assistance program.
While all types of donations of non-perishables are needed, the organizers are hoping there will be plenty of toiletries, personal care products, and cleaning supplies in the mix. The collection station will be open for drop-offs for four hours. Those who have items to contribute are reminded to check the expiration dates on any cans, bottles, or Boxes.
When organizing a food drive or other community event, planners may be asked to choose marketing materials. A printer can provide a range of professional quality printing services to its business, not-for-profit, and other customers.
The Fill a Truck food raiser will ensure local food pantries’ shelves are full on Saturday, September 16. Everyone has been asked to be as generous as they can when making their contribution to the cause.
