Its new Science Building is now officially open and ground has been broken on a Health Science Building. Each building spans 26,000 square feet and is part of Transformation Through Renovation (TTR) Project, including an investment of $52m. The Health Science Building will occupy the space of what was once the Science Building, which is being rebuilt from the inside out to create spaces for training and continuing education opportunities.
These events focus on a major milestone in the multiyear effort to construct cutting-edge laboratory spaces and classrooms on the main campus of the college, marking the project’s midpoint in the building phase. The TTR initiative represents the largest single capital investment ever made by both the Commonwealth and the college to expand workforce training and cutting-edge educational opportunities for Brockton and the surrounding region. The project also marks the first significant academic building renovation since the 1978 opening of the campus and coincides with the 60th anniversary celebration of the college.
Massachusetts Life Sciences Center CEO and President, Kirk Taylor, said:
“These new state-of-the-art facilities will give Massasoit students access to modern laboratories, technologies, and hands-on learning opportunities that prepare them for lifelong careers in the life sciences.”
Brochure printing can serve as an effective way for colleges to share updates on major construction and renovation initiatives, while showcasing the benefits these investments will bring to students, staff, and the broader community.
