Caldwell fundraiser supports navy families
This November, Caldwell residents will be hitting the road in an event that will honor a U.S. Navy Diver.
The 3rd Annual James E. Reyher Man of Honor 5K has been scheduled for the community, and both in person and virtual attendance options are available. The charity of choice is the Navy Special Operations Foundation (NSOF), and race packets, which include an assortment of items, will be presented to each participant.
The in-person race will start at Noble County Courthouse, and it will follow a path through historic Caldwell. At the end of the course, refreshments will be served and there will be information provided about the NSOF and its work. Both runners and walkers are welcome, and there is a sponsorship program for any businesses that would like to show their support for the cause. The registration fee starts at $35 per participant, and there is an option for those who would like to wear their ruck.
As with many fundraisers, the organizers will present each runner and walker with an assortment of corporate gifts. A print professional can offer logo design and other branding services that may be helpful in building the buzz for an upcoming event.
This year’s event will hit the curb on Saturday, November 8, with registration opening at 10:00 am. Its website includes further details.
