The Wire & Wood Music Festival, a free two-day event, will offer six outdoor stages hosting 34 performances in addition to 17 Music Match performances at select Downtown area businesses.
The event is preceded by a Kick-off party on the Plaza at Avalon that will include a special free concert, featuring Mark Miller and Cat Ridgeway and the Tourists.
The festival itself will be held in Downtown Alpharetta, and the public will have a number of transportation options from which to choose in order to experience the festival. Plus, throughout the downtown area there will be free parking options, including the 92 Milton Avenue parking deck, the parking lot located at 45 Roswell Street and the 2 Park Plaza City Hall Parking Deck.
Many Downtown Alpharetta restaurants will be open during the event and many of them have chosen to offer special to-go packages for attendees. As a result of anticipated high demand, it is suggested that customers call ahead to place to-go orders.
Banner printing services are helpful in providing direction for crowds at large events.
The kick-off party at the Plaza from 6:00pm – 9:00pm on October 6. The Wire & Wood Music Festival will run 5:00pm – 11:00pm on October 7 and 8.
Seating at the outdoor stages will be on a first-come, first-served basis; attendees, however, may bring their own seating.
