Alpharetta couples who are looking for a way of celebrating Valentine’s Day that’s a little out of the ordinary are invited to participate in a class where they can learn, as a couple, to create their own special meal.
The Whole Foods Market Avalon will be hosting a Valentine’s Dinner for Two cooking class. Participants will learn how to make smoked salmon canapes, a water cress and spinach salad with a dressing composed of pomegranate and champagne, a Gruyere cheese and caramelized onion tart, and a main course of steak with shrimp and gremolata, over roasted herbed fingerling potatoes and an upside-down cake.
Those who take part will learn how to make all of the above, and they will then have a chance to sit down and enjoy the fruits of their labor along with specially selected wine pairings. A printing company can be called upon to produce bound copies of the recipes that are prepared during an event like this, making it easy for them to prepare them in their own home.
This evening of couple’s cooking will be held on February 14 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm in the Salud! Cooking School that’s part of the Whole Foods Market Avalon, located at 2800 Old Milton Parkway. Tickets are $115 per couple, and more details can be found on the Awesome Alpharetta website.
