A Broadway production is set to take the stage this December in Alpharetta.
A reproduction of the 1993 Broadway hit "She Loves Me” will return to the stage. It will allow fans of the original show to see it performed in front of a live audience once more.
The show was initially a 1964 film that broke ground and was nominated for five awards. It was then adapted for Broadway in 1993 and became a fan favorite. It won several awards for its debut production, including one for Best Musical Revival.
This staging features music by Sheldon Harnick and Jerry Bock, along with music direction by Barbara Capogna Macko. The play is based on Mikos Lazlos's "Parfuemerie," which has inspired numerous interpretations, including the film "You've Got Mail," starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan.
The storyline follows a store clerk and a salesgirl at a perfume shop. Although they have a strong dislike of one another, the two have unknowingly been exchanging romantic correspondences under anonymous titles.
Tickets for the show are available on the venue’s website. Prices will range between $20 and $25.

This event takes place between December 1 and 17 at the Act1 Theatre, which is at 180 Academy Street, Alpharetta. Start times vary.
