A holiday jog and fundraiser is in the works in Alpharetta, providing an opportunity for residents to enjoy outdoor fun while supporting a good cause.
The Jingle Jog and Nutcracker Holiday Brunch is set to begin in a few weeks, bringing the holiday spirit to Alpharetta. The jog and brunch will raise funds for the Summit Counseling Center, a group focused on removing negative stigmas from children’s mental health through education and awareness in schools.
The gathering will feature a jog, a flavorful brunch, and plenty of activities for the entire family to enjoy. A mini Nutcracker ballet performance will be an integral part of the afternoon, which will begin after the jog concludes. Banner printing is a colorful and fun way to welcome joggers to the finish line while promoting event sponsors.
Joggers who wish to participate in the fundraiser's jogging portion are encouraged to wear festive costumes to enhance the cheerful environment. The runners will follow Santa through Avalon to spread the holiday cheer. Tickets can be purchased as a package to include all the sponsored experiences. The event will be rain or shine, and guests are asked to dress for the weather.
The jog will be held at The Hotel at Avalon on Sunday, December 15th. Registration will open at 9:00 AM, and the event will end at noon. Tickets start at $20 and can be purchased online.
