Farm animal yoga brings movement to Alpharetta

An interactive yoga session is being planned for Alpharetta residents, aiming to provide a tranquil space for stretching, meditating, and interacting with animals.

Farm Animal Yoga on the Green at Halcyon will start next month. Alpharetta yogis will have the opportunity to dive into a relaxing and comical yoga session with some of their favorite critters. The event will incorporate an Ashtanga-based Vinyasa yoga course suitable for all interested parties from 10 and up.

The animals present at the event have been socialized for a safe experience for all guests. Participants can expect to interact with pigs, goats, lambs, and llamas while enjoying movement and exercise in the sun. Attendees can take photos with the animals at the yoga event anytime.

The yoga course is subject to the weather and may be canceled or postponed. Refunds will be issued in the event of cancellation. Interested parties are asked to wear comfortable clothing and dress for the weather. All guests will need to bring mats and water bottles from home for the best experience. The class size is limited to 55 students, so interested parties are encouraged to reserve a spot while they remain.

Halcyon will host the fam animal yoga session on Saturday, October 12, starting at 10:00 AM. All interested parties must register online, and general admission costs $38 per person.
