Davis Drive extension to solve cutting-through problem

A construction project that will connect Davis Drive in North Fulton with Westside Parkway in Alpharetta is now underway, with the anticipation that it will eliminate some safety hazards that have plagued the area.

The North Fulton Community Improvement District (CID) has begun the extension of Davis Drive into Alpharetta. The extension is a joint project between North Fulton CID, the City of Alpharetta, Rubenstein Partners, and the State Road & Tollway Authority for the purpose of preventing the unsafe practice of cutting through area parking lots.

Mahesh Mani, a spokesman for the owner of Sanctuary Park, Rubenstein Partners, is quoted in a statement released by North Fulton CID as saying:

“We are excited to collaborate on this important project with the North Fulton CID and the City of Alpharetta. The Davis Drive Extension will provide safety and connectivity for the North Fulton community as well as better access to the businesses in the area.”

Traffic pattern changes often prompt consultations with Print shops for marketing strategy changes.

Immediately west of Georgia 400, Davis Drive meets Mansell Road and offers access to a number of restaurants and business, among which are Miller’s Ale House, Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen, Sam’s Club, The Cooler, and Main Event Entertainment.

Bike lanes, lighting, and landscaping will be included in the project, which will be paid for by a $2m grant from the Georgia Transportation Infrastructure Bank to the North Fulton CID.
