Alpharetta's Season of Celebration to light up the night

Alpharetta's yearly holiday event, Season of Celebration, will return this year to the Town Green.

Now just a few weeks away, this festive event has been an annual tradition for the past 40 years and welcomes adults and children of all ages.

The highlight of the evening will be the traditional lighting of Ole Milton park's 55-foot-high spruce tree half an hour after the opening of the event. Decorated with more than 40,000 dazzling lights, this spectacular tree-lighting event will proceed through rain or shine. A tree sculpture reaching 25 feet tall will also be displayed on the Town Green across from the main stage.

Packed with activities and entertainment, Alpharetta's Season of Celebration will include photos with Santa, life-sized nutcracker statues, falling snow, marshmallows to roast around a fire, and food and beverages to purchase from restaurants and trucks. Printing services are often used by organizers to create high-quality Posters to advertise such events.

Activities for children – including art crafts, balloon crafts, and face painting – will be available free of charge. A variety of local Alpharetta groups will perform live music, including Alpharetta Community Chorus, City of Alpharetta’s Rhythm ‘N Shoes, and Alpharetta Elementary School’s 4th & 5th Grade Chorus.

This year's Season of Celebration is set to take place on Friday, December 6 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
