A youth volleyball tryout is being planned in Alpharetta for next month, providing area youth with an opportunity to compete and make lasting friendships while staying active.
The 2025 Alpharetta High School (AHS) Jr. Raider Volleyball Tryouts are set to welcome students in the AHS system for an opportunity to display their skills and be part of this year’s volleyball team.
Interested athletes will need to arrive at the tryout venue by 6:00 PM for check-in, and parents are expected to confirm their child’s information and ensure their tryout number is situated and visible. The event will not be open to those who are not students and who do not have a physical on file, so parents of students will not be able to attend.
Athletes will begin by stretching and completing a basic warmup before completing a skills review. Flyer printing is an effective way to announce tryouts and sporting events in the community, building excitement and raising awareness.
The session will conclude with the players undergoing a cool-down process to prevent injuries. Athletes will need to wear athletic clothing and shoes, and should bring kneepads and a water bottle.
The tryouts will be held on Wednesday, August 6, at the Alpharetta High School Auxiliary Gymnasium. Check-in is at 6:00, and tryouts end at 8:00 PM. Registration is open online for $44.52 per student.
