Alpharetta workshop to help attendees take control of their financial health

Good financial health can go a long way towards giving a person peace of mind and making their life easier, and during an Alpharetta learning opportunity, attendees will discover ways they can improve their skills in this area.

The topics covered in the Building Blocks for Financial Health workshop will address a variety of areas that can help an individual or family take control over their financial state. It will be open to anyone who is interested, and a breakfast will be offered.

During the seminar, attendees will be given information that covers a variety of life events, including how scholarships can help to pay for post-secondary education, planning for retirement, saving for home ownership, and saving in general. Investing and budgeting will also be addressed, and the organizers remarked that the tools shared can be used by everyone, no matter what their age is.

This opportunity for members of the public to sharpen their financial skills is being offered courtesy of Phi Phi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. There is no charge to take part, and Print shops can lend a hand by supplying manuals and their handouts for distribution during an event like this.

Alpharetta’s St Aidan's Episcopal Church will serve as the venue for this event. It will be taking place this Saturday, May 5, starting at 9:00 am.
