The Wimbledon Round Robin is scheduled to take place in Alpharetta next month.
The round robin will include a division for A-level players and a second for B-level players. Each team will consist of six randomly chosen players in pairings for lines one, two, and three. The game will be played in fast-four format.
This casual Alpharetta tennis event is a feature of Wine-down Wednesdays and will include Pimm’s Cups as refreshments. Poster printing is an inexpensive form of promotion that event hosts frequently use to notify locals as to the day and location of an event.
Those who wish to play in the event can sign up online at $10 per person for Level A or Level B. Up to 24 individuals can sign up for the event before registration closes.
On the day of the event, the bar opening and warm-ups will begin at 6:00 pm. At 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm, a format overview and introductions will take place. The game will proceed from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm, and the event will conclude with awards between 8:30 pm and 9:00 pm.
The event is set to occur at the Queensbury tennis courts and gazebo on Wednesday, July 1 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. In case of rain, the game will instead proceed on Wednesday, July 8.
