Alpharetta to host gourmet extravaganza

Gourmands from the local area, and further afield as well, are invited to take part in the 26th annual Taste of Alpharetta.

The event, which is scheduled to take place in the city’s downtown district, is the largest occasion it will host this spring. If last year’s numbers are any indication, it could be huge, as in 2015, more than 50,000 people came out to sample all that the area’s food service operators have to offer.

More than 50 different establishments will be taking part, and there will also be live music, a culinary contest, cooking demonstrations, an opportunity for people to vote for their favorite eatery, and three Fun Zone areas for families. Decorations such as Banners, Signs, and Posters can be produced by a Print company, which could also design and print Promotional Products and Flyers.

Admission into the event is free, but those who want to sample the food on offer can buy tickets at a cost of $5 for 10. These can be used to try samples at the different restaurant booths. The price per sample will vary from between one to six tickets. They can also be used for the Fun Zone activities.

Parking and shuttles to and from the festivities, which are set to take place on May 12, will be provided free of charge.
