Alpharetta event to explore artisanal cheeses

While many people enjoy the taste of cheese, they may not be aware of the large number of types of this food that are available, but an event that will be taking place in Alpharetta will seek to change that.

Those who sign up to take part in the Artisan Cheese tasting workshop that has been planned for the Whole Foods Market Avalon will be treated to an opportunity to enjoy a guided tasting session, which will be facilitated by the location’s in house authority on cheese. Guests will try an assortment of artisanal cheeses, with many of the varieties being produced in the local region. Those who organize an event like this can use digital copying to produce handouts of recipes and other materials for those who participate.

In addition to the cheese, fruit, bread, and wine will be severed, and details about the history and cultural significance of this food product will be discussed. The workshop is open only to those aged 21 and over. Those who will be taking part are asked to check in at the store’s customer service desk when they arrive.

The cheese tasting session will take place in the Whole Foods Market Avalon, which can be found at 2800 Old Milton Parkway in Alpharetta. Further details and an opportunity to register can be found on the store’s website.
