Alpharetta enjoys Monday night runs

The Summer Run Club Series, presented by The Hotel at Avalon and organized by Lululemon, is set to take place this summer.

On the days of the event, participants will meet with event trainer Betsy Magato at 6:00 pm for a run. This will conclude at South City Kitchen at The Hotel at Avalon where runners can relax on the patio and enjoy a free mocktail or cocktail. Additional beverages and food will be available to buy.

The series caters to runners of all levels, from beginners to marathon trainees and fitness walkers. Weekly themes include Running 101, Injury and Prevention, Goal Planning and Consistency, Discipline vs. Motivation, Training and Technique, and an Awards Ceremony. Each themed run features special activities, such as outfit giveaways, adjustments, motivational meditation, and raffles.

The event is free to attend, although participants are encouraged to pre-register through Eventbrite to secure their place. Onsite signup will also be offered. The series will proceed whatever the weather unless conditions become unsafe, in which case preregistered guests will be informed of cancellation by 3:00 pm on the event day.

Banner printing can be useful in marking the start and end points of runs such as this one.

The series began on June 3 and will conclude on August 19, with the next two runs being on July 1 and 15. Each session is on a Monday and will run from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. The starting location will be the Avalon at 5185 Avalon Blvd, Alpharetta.
