Alpharetta donuts named among the best in the country

A well-known Alpharetta eatery has recently been chosen as one of the best of its type in the USA.

DaVinci’s Donuts was named by Thrillist as one of its top choice for donut shops in the country. It sits alongside 32 other establishments that serve these taste treats.

In order to make their determination, testers from the online lifestyle site sampled the offerings from cafes all over the country and named their favorites. They also took the advice and suggestions of their fellow regular and freelance staff about which ones they preferred before hashing out the final list.

According to Melissa Rudd, who owns the Alpharetta establishment, she serves donuts that are reminiscent of the ones form her childhood. They range from simple and classic styles to ones that are much more elaborate, such as the caramel apple option, which is covered with a caramel sauce and stuffed with apple pie filling.
