Aprons Cooking School of Alpharetta is holding a cooking class specifically for Octoberfest, celebrating the season and German tastes.
This class is specifically designed as a couples’ cooking event – each seat is for two people. Tickets are $100 per couple and include the class, enjoying the food, and recipes to take home.
The menu for the class features German fare, including a cucumber salad, potato pancakes served with sour cream and apple sauce, a type of fresh pasta served with braised cabbage, and roulade (a bacon and onion dish), with plum sheet cake with whipped cream rounding out the meal. This class is hands-on, so participants will be helping to prepare all the food.
Participants should not have to bring any extra materials with them. Closed-toed shoes are always a good idea for cooking classes, as are comfortable clothing. The class focuses on German food, so the instructor may explain more about the food during the class.
Registration for this class is available online in advance. Those interested may also be able to register in person at the Alpharetta location. The cooking class is located inside Publix off State Bridge Road. Parking is available in the attached lot.
Classes like this often use printing services to have printed packets and recipes ready to go home with participants. This event is scheduled to start at 6:00 pm on Thursday, October 31.
