The Luck of Avalon annual event is now in its fifth year and will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with food, drinks, and music. There will also be live performances. This event is free and open to all of Alpharetta.
The first performance of the evening will start at 5:30 pm. King O’Sullivan School of Irish Dance will show off their skills to start the festivities, before North Georgia Pipes and Drums officially starts the celebration at 6:00 pm on the Plaza stage. A live band will take the stage after the pipes and drums, and an area will be cleared out to become a dance floor. The North Georgia Pipes and Drums will also continue to perform through the streets of Avalon until about 7:00 pm. The celebration will continue until around 10:00 pm, with face painting available for little ones until 9:00 pm.
