Alpharetta celebrates return of long-running auction

The Heart and Soul Auction has been a yearly event for almost 20 years in Alpharetta, and it is all for children. The auction benefits The Lionheart School, which focuses on specialized learning and nurturing environments.

The auction features both a live and silent version, with many items up for auction. Attendees also have a range of tickets to choose from, and there are various sponsorship levels all the way through regular tickets. There is also the option of not attending but participating in the auctions, which does require registration.

The Lionheart School and WORKS is a registered nonprofit organization that focuses on education. It has students ages five and up in the school. The WORKS program focuses on individuals age 18 or older, giving them training and real job experience. One main goal of the program is fostering independence in the participants, as well as helping them find and sustain employment.

This event is possible in part thanks to Corporate Gifts – the institution acknowledges all its sponsors and gives opportunities to potential sponsors as well. This event is being hosted at The Hotel at Avalon & Alpharetta Conference Center, and will attract over 400 people from not only Alpharetta, but also the larger Atlanta area.

The auction is scheduled to start at 7:00 pm, and will end approximately four hours later, tommorow, February 9.
