A day has been planned near Alpharetta that will give animals lovers a chance to do a good turn for their furry, feathery, or scaly friends who are in need of a fresh start.
Roswell’s Rose Animal Hospital will be opening its doors for an open house, and the public is invited to attend. It is open to all ages, and young and old alike will be able to get a sneak peek into what goes on behind the scenes in a veterinary hospital. There will also be a variety of hands-on activities as well, and snacks will be served.
The vets will be on hand to conduct a teddy bear exam and surgery so that the youngsters who come out will have a chance to learn more about how this is done, and there will also be a variety of radiographs for the guests to view. There will also be information provided about the control and prevention of parasites that can be found in the local area, and Peachtree Dog Training will also be participating in the day.
Angels Among us Pet Rescue will be participating, and will have some pets on site that are looking for a loving forever home, so those who are looking for a new furry friend may wish to save the date.
