The Vintage Glass, Pottery and Dinnerware Show and Sale is taking place over two days this February in Pompano Beach. The event is presented by the South Florida Depression Glass Club.
Visitors to the show will discover a wide range of American-made items to purchase, including Drinkware, cookie jars, bowls, lamps, and sculptured animals. They will range from art deco, to mid-century, to modern day with brands such as Fiesta ware and Pyrex. There will also be 20th-Century tableware and home decor for sale.
Richard Heldenbrand will be doing some glass repair on visitors’ items. Guests can also bring in their own glass to be identified, learn about its history, and discover what it might be worth. There will also be seminars on topics such as collecting and dating items, door prizes, and a raffle.
Organizers of this event have likely worked with Pompano Beach postcard printing firms to create the cards they sent out to those on their Mailing list. Postcards can also be used by the dealers to pass on their contact information to those who stop by their booths.
The Vintage Glass, Pottery and Dinnerware Show and Sale will be held at the Emma Lou Olson Civic Center from February 6 to 7, beginning at 10:00 am each day. Tickets are $7 and are good for both days.
