Golfers in Pompano Beach seeking a day of fun and community spirit will want to mark their Calendars, as a golf championship is set for MLK Day weekend.
The 5th Annual MLK City Golf Championship will tee off for a good cause in a few weeks, allowing registered competitors the chance to play the newly designed Pines Course at the Pompano Beach Golf Club. The competition will celebrate the legacy and achievements of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and it is expected to be one of the highlights of the South Florida golf season.
The competition is open to experienced professionals and weekend golfers, and will feature a four-player scramble format and a shotgun start. Interested golfers can recruit friends to complete their team or sign up as single players. Banner printing is a proven way to build brand awareness and visibility at outdoor sporting events like this.
The tournament will consist of 18 holes of golf, a post-round luncheon, and complimentary food and beverages while out on the course. The trophy will be presented to the winning team at Galuppi’s after the round of golf is complete.
The Pompano Beach Golf Club in Pompano Beach will be the host course for this year’s competition. It is scheduled for Friday, January 16th, starting at 8:30 AM. Registration is $75 per single player or $300 per foursome online.
