Pompano Beach to organize virtual fundraiser

The 26 Degree Brewing Company in Pompano Beach has partnered with the St. Baldrick's Foundation to organize a virtual fundraiser to benefit kids with cancer.

Those interested in donating to a worthy cause can help the 26 Degree Brewing Company reach its fundraising goal of $70,000. The pub has already raised more than $6,000 for the St. Baldrick's Foundation. People can show their support by contributing money and shaving their heads to stand in solidarity with infants, children, teens, and young adults impacted by different Forms of cancer. Money raised during the event will go to childhood cancer research grants.

St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-run organization aiming to find the cure for childhood cancers while helping survivors live healthy lives. The group has awarded more than $305m to support lifesaving research since 2005. The foundation works with leading pediatric oncologists to determine which research should be funded to make the greatest impact on kids with cancer. Organizations like this can generate community awareness for their cause with poster printing.

The fundraiser will continue until March 13. Those interested in joining 26 Degree Brewing Company’s group or contributing to the business’ goal can visit their event page.
